This was Rusthall girls first match against a Ridgeway team who had played before. In the first thirty seconds Ridgeway took the lead with an amazingly quick goal, whilst Rusthall were getting organized. Then Rusthall started to find there feet and played much better the first half ended 1-0 to Ridgeway, after some great saves from Karis in goal. In the second half, however Rusthall played much better with solid defending Camilla and goalkeeping from Hannah. Then Holly scored a brilliant goal for Rusthall, right in the top corner, after a good pass from Lucy. Rusthall were now on top but, against the run of play Ridgeway took the lead again. However, Rusthall refused to give up and quick thinking by Tanya to send Molly free from a quick throw allowed her to score a great equaliser. The score finished 2-2, a great result for Rusthalls first match. Report by Holly C
